The Role
We are looking for a Partner Acquisition Manager to join a new team within Lyst’s Partnerships tribe. You will work as part of a team tasked with strategically expanding Lyst’s partner network by bringing a checkout-first marketplace on Lyst to life. You will be managing a high value pipeline, focussing on proactive outreach and conducting high-level negotiations. This role requires a blend of commercial acumen, industry knowledge and relationship management skills to support with building out Lyst’s partner offering and driving overall business growth.
Responsibilities
- New Partner Acquisition: You will build and nurture relationships with potential partners by understanding their business needs and presenting how Lyst can help them to reach more fashion shoppers.
- Pipeline Management: Independently manage and prioritise a pipeline of prospective partners, and be responsible for proactively reaching out to them and guiding them through the benefits of joining Lyst. You will drive conversations from initial lead generation through to contract signing.
- Strategic Thinking: Develop and refine strategies to secure agreements with leading fashion brands and retailers, demonstrating a proactive and solution-orientated mindset.
- Understanding of Fashion Landscape: An understanding of and appreciation for the fashion industry, as well as the challenges and opportunities that both multi-brand and mono-brand partners are currently facing.
- Performance & Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders on strategy and planning to align sales efforts with overall company goals, while analysing performance data to continuously improve results.
Requirements
- Experience: As well as a proven background in business development and sales in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment, we are also looking for someone with:
- Sales Tools Experience: Salesforce, Hubspot or similar email outreach tools as well as experience with Looker or Tableau.
- E-Commerce Platform Experience: Shopify, Magento or other marketplace platforms – a knowledge of different e-commerce platforms from either an internal or external perspective is desirable.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive results and meet targets. A comprehensive knowledge of Excel as well as Keynote/presentation tooling is also required for reporting.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to represent Lyst professionally to external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Planning: Strong time management skills – you will be comfortable managing and prioritising multiple conversations at different stages and moving them forward in line with goals.
- Adaptability: A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage a pipeline autonomously in a scale-up environment.
