Job Title: Video Editor
Location: Remote
Work Shift: Flexi / Broken Hours
Working Hours: 20 hours/week with possible extended hours (compensated)
Responsibilities:
- Edit webinar and podcast recordings into polished, engaging video content
- Process and edit footage from company events and client events (e.g., webinars, interviews, supplier visits)
- Create social media-optimized versions of video content
- Maintain consistent branding and visual style across all video productions
- Develop compelling video compilations and highlight reels
- Collaborate with marketing team on content strategy
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of professional video editing experience
- Proficiency with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Kapwing, or similar)
- Portfolio demonstrating experience with the likes of podcast editing, event footage, and social media content
- Excellent understanding of pacing, transitions, and audio-visual synchronization
- Experience optimizing video content for different platforms and formats
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
Technical Requirements
- Access to a reliable computer capable of handling video editing software without lag or crashes
- Minimum system specifications:
- Modern multi-core processor (i5/i7/Ryzen 5/7 or equivalent, 8th gen or newer)
- 16GB RAM (32GB preferred)
- SSD storage with at least 500GB free space
- Dedicated graphics card with at least 4GB VRAM
- High-speed internet connection (minimum 100Mbps download/20Mbps upload)
- Backup solutions for project files
