Part-Time Lead UX/UI Designer

Scenic West Design is looking for a part-time Lead UX/UI Designer to contribute user flow diagrams, wireframes, high fidelity mockups, and other design deliverables for one or more key client projects. You’ll be collaborating with our team of UX/UI Designers, Product Strategists and our clients to create engaging, innovative B2B SaaS, EdTech, and/or E-commerce experiences. We’re a primarily remote team, but our leadership is based in Tennessee.

Requirements

• Variety of digital product design experience that includes B2B SaaS product work
• Strong understanding of product strategy and how to design for business goals and constraints
• Ability to work independently and create a number of concepts from a high level direction
• Experience leading UX/UI design work for B2B SaaS products and managing stakeholders
• Use of Figma to create designs including reusable components, clickable prototypes, and design systems
• Strong visual design skills
• Strong communication skills and a proactive work ethic
• Client facing experience in fast moving, flexible environments
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to gather necessary feedback
• Ability to quickly and continuously deliver value through deliverables and project direction
• Experience working remote as a freelancer or full-time at an agency
• Understanding of Agile product design and development processes
• Familiar with Slack, Trello, JIRA, etc.
• Availability for client meetings and team collaboration during core business hours (Eastern or Central Time)
