Part-Time Autonomous Vehicle Operators needed

Growing autonomous transit company is currently seeking Part-time Autonomous Vehicle Operators for multiple positions in Eden Prairie, MN.  Transportation Specialists will be operating autonomous vehicles to help ensure all customers have a safe, clean, professional and enjoyable experience.

The ideal candidate is a safe and experienced driver who is highly organized, attentive to detail and customer-oriented with a passion for new technologies.

Location - Eden Prairie, MN

Pay - $26/hr

Schedule - Part-time, Shifts available Monday - Friday 5 am - 7 pm, Saturdays - 6 am - 5:30 pm (Saturdays required)

Work environment - Onsite/Field

Assignment length- Ongoing

As an Autonomous Vehicle Operator, you will: 

• Interact on a daily basis with riders and company operations.
• Make suggestions on how to improve vehicle feel, comfort and overall experience.
• Check the safety condition of vehicles daily.
• Clean interior and exterior of vehicles at regular intervals or as needed.
• Operate according to traffic safety procedures and safe driving practices.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Commitment: This is an ongoing contract position. It will be onsite available to candidates who are local to the Eden Prairie, MN area. Note: Hire is contingent upon a clear background check, MVR, and drug screen (including THC).

Requirements

What you bring to the table:

• 3+ years of driving experience with a clean driving record 
• Valid driver’s license 
• A technical background working with electronics, mechanical components or computers a plus
• Comfortable with driving Autonomous Vehicles
• The ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly
• Comfortable pushing individuals in wheelchairs up a ramp and into a car 
• Methodical and process-oriented
• Organized and able to document daily summaries
• Able to maintain composure under pressure
• High school diploma or equivalent
