The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in a similar role, with strong management, organizational, and communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. Key Responsibilities
  • Administer complex and taxable estates, including preparation and filing of probate forms
  • Prepare Massachusetts and federal estate tax returns
  • Communicate directly with fiduciaries, financial advisors, accountants, and other third parties
  • Support attorneys with estate planning processes, including engagement letters, funding instructions, and related documentation
  • Draft ancillary estate planning documents (powers of attorney, health care proxies, living wills, HIPAA forms, etc.)
  • Obtain and draft deeds, trustee certificates, and homestead declarations
  • Calendar and track critical deadlines (probate filings, tax due dates, and estate plan signings)

  • Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of recent experience as a Paralegal in Trusts & Estates

  • Corporate or commercial real estate experience is a plus, but not required
