In this role, you will support a global frontline legal function that partners closely with business teams on commercial legal matters. You will be responsible for triaging incoming legal requests, gathering and organizing relevant information, assessing applicable legal and compliance considerations, and preparing recommended guidance for review by paralegals and legal stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical thinking, comfort with technology, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Triage and manage incoming commercial legal matters within a shared legal intake workspace
Collect, organize, and validate information from business partners to support legal analysis
Support routine legal processes and assist with standard commercial matters
Identify and escalate complex or higher-risk issues to paralegals for deeper review
Assist paralegals with legal research, issue analysis, and drafting of recommended guidance or solutions
Maintain, update, and organize legal self-help and business readiness resources
Track legal requests to ensure timely routing, follow-up, and resolution
Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency, clarity, and matter-routing workflows
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders across business and legal functions
Associate’s degree in paralegal studies or equivalent legal training
0–2+ years of experience supporting legal operations, legal research, or legal document review
0–2+ years of experience drafting and reviewing legal documents with accuracy and attention to regulatory standards
0–2+ years of experience using legal research tools and document or case management systems, including internal compliance platforms
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to analyze policies, contracts, and legal documentation
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Comfort working with ambiguity and minimal guidance
Service-oriented mindset with a focus on responsiveness and collaboration
Ability to work Pacific Time hours
Experience supporting commercial legal matters in a corporate, technology, or law firm environment
Familiarity with CRM or legal intake tools
Strong program or project management skills
High comfort with technology and the ability to learn new tools and systems quickly
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume legal or operational environment
Confidence presenting ideas or recommendations to legal or business partners
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state is $23.00-$25.00 per hour. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
