The Opportunity:

The Panel Assembler is responsible for assembling all parts of the panels including tiles, slotted channel side trims, hardware, painted parts and accessories using assembly fixtures, pneumatic guns and other tools. They are required to ensure quality standards of products while adhering to Health & Safety policies and complying with Tayco policies on a consistent basis.

Requirements

  • Has a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Exposure to a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
  • Has good hand and eye co-ordination and muscular control sufficient to operate tools or equipment and see closely and/or listen intently in order to achieve very detailed results and/or detect flaws or errors.
  • Is able to work independently or as a part of a team. Works well with others and builds effective working relationships within the department and Tayco.
  • Is able to lift materials up to 50 pounds and to carry, move, manipulate and/or position them and to move, bend, twist or occasional awkward body positions while performing work.
  • Complies with all company health and safety policies and procedures at all times. Without limitation, wears Personal Protective Equipment at all times in accordance with Tayco's policies.
