Your Mission
As an Information Security Specialist – PAM, your mission is to help build and improve the secure management of privileged access across the IKEA landscape. You’ll take the technical lead from the PAM Product Owner and support the PAM Platform Leader to ensure that our CyberArk platform (and other PAM tools) are reliable, secure, and scalable. You’ll contribute to IKEA’s digital security posture by designing and implementing privileged access controls that are aligned with zero-trust principles and meet regulatory expectations across our global environment.
What You’ll Do
Design, implement, and maintain our PAM platform (primarily based on CyberArk) supporting use cases such as credential vaulting, session monitoring, privilege elevation, and just-in-time access.
Build and maintain integrations between PAM and other systems (e.g., directories, ticketing systems, authentication platforms, and cloud environments).
Collaborate with the PAM Product Owner to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
Participate in architectural design and decision-making to ensure secure-by-design implementation of PAM controls across hybrid and cloud-native environments.
Help define and enforce standards for onboarding privileged accounts, secrets management, and access reviews.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PAM-related issues, driving continuous improvement in tooling, processes, and user experience.
Stay current on evolving PAM trends and threats to recommend proactive security improvements.
What Makes You a Fit
You have strong hands-on experience with CyberArk (e.g., PAS, PSM, CPM, EPM), and you’re confident configuring, integrating, and supporting these solutions in enterprise environments.
You understand the importance of protecting privileged accounts and secrets in both on-prem and cloud-based infrastructures.
You’re comfortable designing access workflows and PAM architectures that align with best practices in security, compliance, and operational resilience.
You are a proactive, collaborative team player with strong communication skills and an eye for automation and scalability.
Experience working in Agile environments and with infrastructure-as-code or DevOps principles.
