Painting Sales & Estimating Manager

We are actively seeking a results-driven Painting Sales & Estimating Manager to lead business development and estimating operations for our painting division in Dallas, TX. This role blends sales leadership, client engagement, and construction estimating to drive revenue growth and ensure accurate, competitive project bids across both commercial and residential markets.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in painting estimating, bid preparation, and sales strategy execution, and is ready to make an immediate impact in the Dallas construction market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site evaluations to assess project scope, conditions, and client requirements
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, production rates, and scheduling
  • Develop and present competitive bids, proposals, and scope clarifications
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, architects, and property managers
  • Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure estimates align with execution plans
  • Monitor job costs, budgets, and profitability metrics
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Dallas market
  • Support and execute sales strategies to drive division growth
  • Mentor and train junior estimators or sales staff as needed
  • Serve as a key representative for painting sales initiatives locally

Requirements

  • Proven experience in painting sales, estimating, or project management
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and residential painting materials, coatings, surface preparation, and industry standards
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in estimating software and/or Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
