Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an established fruit cultivation organisation, packer and export enterprise with operations across several Western Cape areas. They require a skilled Packing Line Supervisor to join their team at a modern packing facility located near Piketberg.

This family-operated business focuses on shipping high-grade citrus fruits and table grapes to worldwide destinations, including the United Kingdom. In the position of Packing Line Supervisor, you will serve as an integral member of the packaging operations leadership, managing a complete shift to guarantee production quality, standard compliance and workforce effectiveness. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and organise packaging activities for your allocated shift
  • Ensure superior pack-out ratios are continuously maintained
  • Uphold stringent quality management and food safety protocols per export regulations
  • Guide, inspire and supervise shift workforce to promote output and involvement
  • Monitor time administration and production effectiveness throughout the packing line
  • Drive continuous enhancement efforts to boost operational efficiency
  • Liaise with the packaging operations leadership to fulfil production objectives

Requirements

Opleiding & Akkreditasie:

  • Graad 12 (Matrieksertifikaat)
