Salary: $50,000 Base + Uncapped Commission (Year 1 OTE $70k-$90k, Year 2 OTE $120k) + Company Car

Outside Sales Representative – Residential Customers Description
Our client in the home services industry is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join their team in Carlsbad, CA to help develop the residential market. Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll be responsible for generating approximately 50% of your own leads, while also managing warm leads provided by the company. This is not a door-to-door sales role—instead, you’ll focus on building and nurturing relationships with residential general contractors, realtors, and other trade professionals who can refer homeowners your way when the need arises. You'll also handle estimating jobs at customer homes and following through to resolve any issues that may come up. The sales cycle typically ranges from one week to two months, and consistent follow-up is key to closing. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of sales experience, thrives in a proactive, customer-focused and relationship-driven role, and can juggle multiple projects at once. Outside Sales Representative – Residential Customers Responsibilities
• Travel to customer job sites
• Quote/estimate customer jobs
• Maintain a 10% loss rate or less
• Meet and exceed sales goals
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge
• Advise customers on-site or during calls
• Upsell customers wherever necessary for a complete job
• Prioritize customers to ensure all customers are fully satisfied with the service
• Meet with manager and team on regular basis
• Set own schedule, ensuring customer homes are visited as soon as possible for quotes
Outside Sales Representative – Residential Customers Qualifications
• 2+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of success required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to travel locally required (company car and gas provided)
