Accelecom GA is seeking a Project Manager to support a multi-faceted program that provides broadband connectivity to customers across Georgia. The ideal candidate has project management experience, and will manage projects in business operations, logistics and facilities construction management among other areas. The Operations Project Manager is fully accountable for all activities related to the program. The ideal candidate is solution-driven and comfortable in a fast-paced growing environment. The candidate will work closely with the other staff to provide program management oversight, establish reporting procedures, and support daily operations. Salary commensurate with experience and potential contribution.
Job Requirements
Oversee overall project planning to identify critical milestones and priorities
Develop and initiate project implementation plans
Monitor progress of project activities and reports on issues that may delay completion
Keep alert to problem areas and take action to ensure that critical milestones are met
Define, create, and standardize new reporting mechanisms for the group.
Prepare periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activities for management
Manage multiple competing cross-functional projects/programs simultaneously
Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance business needs with technical constraints
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the Electric or Telecommunications Industry; may consider other education and/or work experience
Or related experience in the field of 10+ years.
Professional Project Manager, current PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), or 3-5 years of experience in a project manager position. **(Telecom engineering, operations and BSS / OSS development projects are also a plus).
High computer literacy – particular emphasis with Microsoft SharePoint/Azure and Microsoft Office, SalesForce and Site Tracker
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team, establishing and sustaining relationships with colleagues and employees at all levels in the company
Able to pass a background check/drug test/driving record check
