We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Orthotics & Prosthetics Technician (O&P Technician) to support clinical care through the hands-on fabrication, adjustment, and repair of custom orthotic and prosthetic mobility devices.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical craftsmanship, working with tools and materials, and contributing directly to improved patient mobility and outcomes in a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and adjust custom orthotic and prosthetic devices according to clinician specifications
  • Assist with device modifications, alignments, and repairs
  • Prepare devices for patient fittings and clinical use
  • Operate and maintain fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment
  • Maintain organized lab spaces and adhere to safety and infection-control standards
  • Collaborate closely with clinicians to meet individualized patient needs
  • Complete documentation, work orders, and production logs accurately

Requirements

  • Experience in orthotics & prosthetics (O&P), medical device fabrication, or a technical trade preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform hands-on fabrication tasks
