Orthotics & Prosthetics Technician

We are seeking a hands-on Orthotics & Prosthetics Technician (O&P Technician) to support the production, customization, and repair of patient-specific prosthetic and orthotic devices. This role is essential to ensuring devices are fabricated accurately, finished to high-quality standards, and delivered on time to support patient mobility and independence.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in an O&P lab, medical device manufacturing, or another technical fabrication environment and thrives in a detail-oriented, team-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and modify prosthetic and orthotic components according to clinician specifications
• Assist with device preparation, finishing, and fitting support
• Troubleshoot and repair damaged or worn prosthetic and orthotic devices
• Maintain inventory of fabrication materials, components, and supplies
• Support lab workflow, production timelines, and operational efficiency
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality control, and infection-control guidelines
• Document work orders and device modifications accurately

Requirements

• Prior experience in orthotics & prosthetics (O&P) labs, manufacturing, or hands-on technical roles preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with fabrication tools and machinery
• Ability to work with materials such as plastics, carbon fiber, composites, and metals
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team
