Orthotics & Prosthetics Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Orthotics & Prosthetics Technician to support the fabrication, modification, and repair of custom orthotic and prosthetic devices. This hands-on technical role works closely with clinicians to ensure devices meet precise patient and clinical specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has experience in orthotics and prosthetics fabrication or a related technical field and is comfortable working with tools, machinery, and specialized materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and modify custom orthotic and prosthetic devices
• Assist clinicians with device preparation, adjustments, and fittings
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance on prosthetic and orthotic devices
• Operate and maintain fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment
• Work with materials including plastics, metals, composites, and laminates
• Maintain an organized and clean fabrication workspace
• Follow safety, quality control, and infection-control standards
• Accurately document work orders, fabrication details, and modifications

Requirements

• Experience in orthotics and prosthetics fabrication or related technical/manufacturing field preferred
• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to follow written and verbal technical instructions
• Dependable, organized, and team-oriented mindset
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform hands-on tasks
