About You and The Role  

Zipline is looking for Order Operations Specialists in Rwanda to support US-based partner operations. This team supports US-based order operations by ensuring menu accuracy, processing customer orders, and maintaining reliable partner workflows across extended operating hours.

This role will be responsible for creating restaurant menus for new partners, making weekly menu updates, and helping intake and process customer orders quickly and accurately.

This is a hands-on operations role that requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to move quickly while maintaining a high standard of service for customers, partners, and internal teams.

This is an entry-level operational role best suited for candidates with some prior work experience demonstrating reliability, accountability, and consistency in fast-paced environments.

What You'll Do

  • Create, maintain, and continuously update restaurant and retail partner menus to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability
  • Complete ongoing menu edits including price changes, item availability updates, descriptions, and partner updates
  • Intake and process customer orders quickly and accurately through partner ordering platforms and systems
  • Verify that customer orders are received, confirmed, and fulfilled correctly by partners
  •  Coordinate with restaurant and retail partners to confirm order details, availability, timing, and fulfillment needs
  • Monitor incoming order requests and respond quickly to operational issues, menu inconsistencies, or partner concerns
  • Support non-integrated partner workflows by manually placing or confirming orders when needed
  • Communicate clearly with internal operations and cross-functional teams when orders or partner workflows require escalation or follow-up
  • Identify recurring menu, ordering, or operational issues and contribute to process improvements over time
  • Maintain accurate records and consistently follow standard operating procedures

What You'll Bring 

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage menus, orders, and operational workflows consistently
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with partners and cross-functional teams
  • 1–2 years of experience in customer support, hospitality, restaurant operations, logistics coordination, retail operations, or other fast-paced operational environments
  • Ability to work quickly, stay organized, and remain calm in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Comfort using digital tools, order platforms, email, and internal operational systems
  • Ability to adapt quickly to evolving tools, workflows, and operational processes
  • Strong ownership mindset and willingness to proactively solve problems and escalate issues when needed
  • Ability to follow step-by-step processes while maintaining high operational accuracy and reliability
  • High standards for customer experience, operational quality, and partner support
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and continuously improve operational workflows

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in customer support, restaurant operations, dispatch, logistics, or order management
  • Experience working with menus, food ordering platforms, or partner onboarding
  • Familiarity with tools like Gmail, Slack, Intercom, internal dashboards, or order management systems

What Else You Need to Know   

  • Must have legal right to work in Rwanda.
  • Must be willing and able to work a Shift-based schedule including nights, weekends and public holidays.
  • Must be willing and able to work for a period not less than 40 hours/week.
  • Employment type: Full Time.
