Order Entry Specialist - Glass & Architectural Materials Manufacturing

We are looking for a detail-oriented Order Entry Specialist to join our manufacturing team. This role requires precision in handling orders, technical aptitude with drawings and measurements, and proficiency in data entry systems. The ideal candidate will thrive in a structured environment where accuracy and efficiency are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and manage customer orders accurately in company systems.
• Perform data entry tasks with attention to detail and consistency.
• Utilize Excel for tracking, reporting, and order management.
• Read and interpret shop drawings to ensure correct order specifications.
• Apply math skills with U.S. fractions and inches for accurate measurements.
• Use CAD software to review and record technical details.
• Understand and document written instructions such as delivery dates, locations, and special requests.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing (no direct customer contact required).

Qualifications

• Previous experience in order entry, data entry, or manufacturing support preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
• Familiarity with CAD software.
• Solid math skills, especially with fractions and inch-based measurements.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in the glass or architectural materials industry is a plus.
