Oracle Technical Consultant - TCS Contract
Location: Remote (Option for occasional visits to client site)
Job Description
The Oracle Technical Consultant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective operation of Oracle ERP systems and technologies, specializing in providing technical support, configuration, and troubleshooting while collaborating with both business and technical teams.
• Perform technical assessments and provide solutions for Oracle ERP implementations and upgrades.
• Develop, implement, and maintain various technical objects in the Oracle ecosystem, including interfaces, data migrations, and custom reports.
• Work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle applications, ensuring optimal performance.
• Participate in the design and architecture of technical solutions in alignment with best practices and industry standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on technical standards and coding practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, system configurations, and user guides.
• Engage with project stakeholders and provide updates on technical progress and any issues encountered.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven experience (5+ years) as an Oracle Technical Consultant with a solid understanding of Oracle ERP modules.
• Strong expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports development.
• Experience with Oracle Database Administration and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of integration techniques, including APIs, web services, and third-party applications.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud infrastructure and tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Relevant certifications in Oracle technologies are preferred.
