Accelerative Success. Redwood Strategy Group is seeking an experienced Oracle Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Team Lead. This position will work as lead of team of SMEs for Oracle Financial Enterprise Business Suite. Financial Systems Modernization Solution (FSMS). In addition, the Oracle Functional SME/Team Lead will report of weekly metrics, provide back-up as needed including resolving end user help desk tickets, and assist with creating new lines of accounting in the FSMS system for the client.  The Position is remote but must be available to meet in person as needed. Preferred candidate location Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland area.     Our client is a specialized management consulting firm that engages experienced professionals and consultants to support the federal government with strategic project execution, financial process optimization, advanced IT solutions, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation. Through innovative transformations, they develop and implement strategies to optimize operations for military departments and agencies across the U.S. Federal Government.    Key Responsibilities  - Initiates, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs - Must be able to lead of team of SMEs for Oracle Financial Enterprise Business Suite   - Update, maintain, and develop instructor led training of FSMS for TSA End users - Update, and maintain FSMS job aids - Provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff - Provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues.      Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business field or Management Information Systems or related discipline
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Over 12 years’ of hands-on experience working with Oracle Federal Financial application including Oracle Federal Financials R12 implementation/support, testing and development of training documentation and materials.  
  • Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Public Trust clearance 
  • Previous Oracle modules knowledge and experience 
  • Understand the Procure-to-Pay process, Order to Cash, Cost accounting, Budget to Report  
  • Will have worked in a help desk environment  
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects with Strong, verbal, written, analytical, time management, and organizational skills.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word and Excel.

    $140,000 – $150,000 per year
