Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Support Consultant

Job Description

You will be:

  • Overseeing day to day application support for a variety of clients. 
  • Utilising your Oracle Cloud Financials and Fusion Tax expertise to oversee and resolve support issues and add value through delivering fixes and ongoing ways of improving current delivered functionality.
  • Leading Requirements gathering, creating and developing documentation for business changes.  
  • Working with technical consultants to deliver client requirements.  
  • Liaising directly with clients to ensure all requests for change are properly designed, assessed, prioritized, and managed through to completion.  

You will have experience in the following areas: 

  • Oracle Cloud (SaaS) Financial Modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets. (Essential)
  • Oracle Fusion Tax setup, configuration and support (Desirable)
  • Oracle Cloud Reporting: Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence, Financial Reporting Studio and Smartview 
  • Oracle OUM and/or AIM methodology 
  • Experience of working effectively within a team 
  • Organised and be self-motivated 
  • Ability to multi-task and priorities across concurrent support projects will be required  
  • Management of change requests through the development and testing lifecycle confirming to project management standards and scope 
  • Liaising with Oracle to ensure effective management of client SRs 
  • Ensure that clients are supported and kept up to date with latest Oracle Cloud quarterly releases 
  • Manage on-time project delivery and business expectations and ensure internal customer satisfaction 
  • Advising clients on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems 
  • Completing tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
