The role is responsible for the operation of haul trucks to assure safe transportation and complete delivery of copper concentrates from the Didipio Minesite to Poro Point and vice versa. Operate in a safe manner and ensure to maintain the truck in good condition by regularly conducting pre-start checklist in every activity.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Conducts pre- and post-operation inspections independently, identifying common issues.
- Operates trucks effectively in standard conditions, such as paved roads or controlled job sites.
- Follows load management and securing procedures with minimal guidance.
- Adheres to safety standards and communicates effectively with the team.
- Prepares and submits accurate and complete pre-trip/post-trip inspection reports without supervision.
- Maintains logs and complies with regulatory requirements consistently.
- Generates detailed delivery reports, including information about delays, customer feedback, or route changes.
- Completes maintenance requests and incident reports in line with company protocols.
- At least high school graduate
- 6 – 12 Months truck driving experience or 2 – 3 years manual LV driving experience
- Commercial driving experience
- Professional Driver’s License
- Heavy Equipment Operation (Rigid On-Highway Dump Truck) NC II or NCIII
- Knowledge in Heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Advanced knowledge inn LTO traffic rules and regulations
- Can understand and speak basic english
- Ability to perform job with minimal supervision.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment or commercial bus.
- Ability to operate other company vehicles such as light vehicles, when called to perform company duties and other duties responsibilities requested by immediate supervisor.
