Purpose of the Role

As a Freight Operations Operative, you’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring the effective storage, delivery, servicing, setup, pack-down and presentation of garage environments, support equipment and parts—both at events and at our storage facilities. While you’ll be part of a high‑performing team, you’ll also operate independently and confidently to deliver essential tasks that keep our trackside and factory operations running smoothly. You’ll also support wider road, air and see freight operations and take on ad hoc duties as required.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the efficient storage and servicing of assets and infrastructure during non‑travel weeks, typically in a warehouse environment.

  • Safely and accurately set up infrastructure at events, maintaining the highest standards of compliance, safety, quality and presentation.

  • Carry out practical hands‑on tasks requiring mechanical, electrical or IT aptitude, resolving obstacles as they arise.

  • Apply working knowledge of motorsport garage infrastructure or relevant transferable skills from other industries.

  • Ensure accurate reporting, load planning and fulfilment in line with all shipment requirements.

  • Safely operate machinery, including forklift equipment (training provided where required).

  • Conduct inspections of PPE and supporting equipment.

  • Support and carry out trackside security duties to protect company IP.

  • Provide race support operational tasks as needed—such as refuelling, tyres and general garage duties.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience delivering high‑quality work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.

  • Experience working within a highly technical environment.

  • Ability to support component fault diagnosis and assist in rectification.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

  • Ability to drive manual vehicles and comply with international road laws.

  • Work flexibly, including extensive travel and unsociable hours, as required.

  • Full UK driving licence required.
