As ATB’s next Operations Support Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations of AI/ML products and Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) processes within the AI Operations team. This role demands strong technical skill in understanding applications, network, databases, servers and storage troubleshooting and analysis. The role requires regular interfaces with stakeholders and partners which are necessary for operational support. Furthermore, the role requires a clear understanding of technical support on robotic processes on RPA platforms like Blue Prism; evaluating and resolving all technical issues falling under RPA and ML model. Escalating and connecting with appropriate tier levels domains, which include data science, platforms and developer teams to provide effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Robotic Process Automations (RPA), ML models and Application Platforms.
  • Perform code refactoring, optimization, deployment,testing and monitoring.
  • Resolve issues that arise in the day-to-day running of automated processes and ML models applications; providing timely responses to issues.
  • Provide ongoing operational support including upgrades, defect fixes and any process change activities.
  • Collaborate with other support teams at all levels to foster successful partnerships critical to service delivery.
  • Participate in AI/ML solution design, product testing/test automation and validate operational test procedures.
  • Assume full ownership of new technology solutions or PoCs where applicable.
  • Participate or lead the documentation of project transition to operations.
  • Read and understand code (code-competency) for diagnosis, escalation to tier teams.
  • Participate or lead the prioritization and resolution of escalations and take proactive steps to address root causes.
  • Participate or lead the estimation and forecasting of workload.
  • Implement initiatives for monitoring day-to-day operational systems and resolve obstacles to service delivery.
  • Interact with all relevant technology services and operations teams in scheduling and implementing periodic maintenance of systems hardware and software, including supporting and/or leading hardware and software upgrades and system releases.

Requirements

Accreditation

  • University degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related disciplines or an acceptable combination of education, experience and training.
  • Advance knowledge/expertise in Blue Prism Robotic Process Automation.
  • 3+ years experience with programming languages like Python, C#, VB.Net, Java or Bash.
  • 3+ years experience in infrastructure and information systems environment.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Agile methodology and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Proficiency in structured and unstructured database languages (i.e. BigQuery , NoSQL, MS SQL).
  • 2+ years experience with cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.
  • Basic understanding of tools used by data scientists and experience with software development and automation testing.
  • Basic experience with containerization such as Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and Machine Learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, Keras, PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.
  • Fundamental knowledge of ITIL and IT operational processes.
  • Advanced understanding of IT operational monitoring and automation systems.
  • Knowledge of data analytic and visualization tools like Tableau is an asset.
  • Blue Prism certification would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning Operations is an asset.

Key Relationships

  • Work with delivery squads, data platforms, AI platforms, data scientists, operations teams and technical thought leaders in AI.
  • Work cross-functionally with all lines of ATB business, supporting internal AI and automation units as well as external vendors when applicable.
  • Work in close partnership with technology partners and the customer experience office.
