Dynamis is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to provide comprehensive support to the SEVP School Certification Unit, with a primary focus on strengthening the tracking of foreign students and exchange visitors within the United States and mitigating fraud vulnerabilities. These efforts encompass technical, analytical and adjudication support across key SEVP operational processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews all initial, recertification, and update petitions to verify compliance with SEVP evidence requirements.
  • Manages requests from schools needing to update a Recertification petition that is locked within SEVIS during the recertification process.
  • Processes update petitions involving changes to the Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) or Designated School Official (DSO) on Form I-17.
  • Processes routine update petitions that do not require Federal Adjudicator approval, including corrections to spelling or punctuation, mailing address changes, and school type reclassifications.
  • Reviews and verifies submitted evidence for initial, update, and recertification petitions to confirm that all required documentation is present based on petition type. 

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in a related field
  • U.S. Citizenship to obtain DHS Suitability
  • Baccalaureate Degree is required
  • Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical data.
  • Ability to read and interpret policy, regulations, and directives.
  • Experience in dashboard and report development.

Preferred:

  • Competency in using Student Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS)
