Uken’s foray into narrative games is an exciting opportunity for the company.

Uken is looking for an Operations Manager to join our Operations Team. This position will be required to work from the office at least 50% of the week.

As a Ukenite, you'll be working on meaningful things like:

Designing and implement office policies by establishing standards and procedures and ensuring ; office needs are addressed in a timely manner; updating office space wiki as required
Sourcing and selecting vendors, ordering supplies and handling all incoming/outgoing mail and couriers
Maintaining a technology database (hardware and software); and ordering tech as needed
Maintain a fun, safe and secure working environment as member of H&S team and code of conduct committee
Managing all Covid-19 pandemic response activities including but not limited to reconfiguration of working spaces, screening programs, additional PPE and hot desking systems
Assisting finance team with expense reports, credit card administration and reconciliations, deposits and cheques
Liaising with landlord for office issues and managing all subtenant relationships including lease agreements, communicating subtenant guidelines, monitoring and resolving issues
Coordinating external conference travel and accommodation and other expenses
Coordinating team meals, snacks, events (team building and charitable), parties and demos whether in office or remote
Assisting with new team member onboarding (setting up accounts, technology, building tour) and offboarding
Tracking employee allowances, submit to payroll for reimbursement, respond to inquiries

You should have:

3+ years experience in operations management, administration, event planning and technology support
Strong technology skills, including experience with GSuite, Slack, Video Conferencing software, Excel spreadsheets and other technology platforms that support operations in a fast moving, deadline driven environment
Experience collaborating, communicating, and presenting information to technical and non-technical team members
Success managing multiple activities with speed, accuracy and efficiency
Strong communication skills; good listener and a strong problem solver
An appetite to learn, grow, and challenge everything
