About the Role

Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for operational excellence? Rentokil Initial is seeking an experienced Pest Operations Manager to lead and manage service delivery at a local level. This position is based in Lidcombe, Sydney and reports directly to the Business Manager. In this role, your core focus will be delivering the best possible service to our customers at the lowest possible cost.

You will be responsible for leading a team of Local Service Managers (LSMs) and Technicians, ensuring 100% service delivery while maintaining a high standard of safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership: Implement regional operational plans to achieve cost-effective service delivery.
Service Excellence: Work with planners to allocate service runs and monitor productivity to achieve a minimum of 80% productive hours.
People Management: Lead, manage, and develop your team through coaching, support, and consistent performance management.
Financial Oversight: Manage a Profit and Loss account, including stock levels, fleet usage, and overtime budgets.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with company policies, including OH&S and environmental standards.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with HR, SHE, Sales, and National Teams to drive business growth and people engagement.

What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong analytical skills and a proven track record of managing teams in complex environments.

Essential Criteria:

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in People Management, Change Management, and Communication.
Technical Skills: 2+ years of thorough analytical and computer skills.
Licensing: A valid Manual Driver’s Licence with at least a 2-year driving history.
Attributes: The ability to remain calm under pressure, solve problems practically, and establish SMART objectives for yourself and others.
