The Operations Manager, Radiopharmaceutical Manufacturing and Project Management will lead and implement a culture of continuous improvement across manufacturing and project management within a radiopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for management of a radiopharmaceutical manufacturing team to ensure reliable and compliant manufacturing of radiotherapeutic drug product and/or radiochemical products. The role is on-site, located in Angleton Texas.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Drive the Operational Excellence strategy aligned with corporate goals.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring the appropriate resources are allocated for routine and ad-hoc radiopharmaceutical and radiochemical product manufacturing.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and lead structured problem-solving efforts.
  • Optimize radiopharmaceutical production processes to ensure adequate yield and purity to meet supply and GxP requirements.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Facilities to ensure GxP compliance of all manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with all departments while planning for all radiopharmaceutical and radiochemical product manufacturing planning.
  • Mentor and train a high performing operations team.
  • Personal development – maintain standard knowledge and make recommendations for professional development and training.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Orientation in pharmacy, biochemistry or science filed is highly preferred,
  • Minimum 6 years’ of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP),
  • Experience working in close support with R&D, Operations and Quality.
  • Experience working in radiopharmaceuticals or radionuclide(s) manufacturing (highly preferred),
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required,
  • Technical understanding of manufacturing, quality and regulatory requirements.
