Job Purpose
Responsible for assisting the PSM / SOM in ensuring the safe, professional execution of security services for the EoJ contract. Line Manager for the daily functioning of the Protection Teams

Requirements
- To direct and manage EoJ operations
- Ownership, oversight, and coordination of daily tasking of PT teams, including drivers' leave, team rosters, ops matrix
- Continuous risk analysis of areas of operation and transit routes
- Development and implementation of mitigation measures and review and Development of Standard Operating Procedures for the operations department
- Development of contingency plans and procedures
- Conduct immediate risk assessment and instigate initial response to security or safety-related incidents involving client personnel or PTs
- Provide advice and assistance to clients in formulating and implementing coordinated joint responses to crisis and emergency scenarios
- To work with the analyst to deliver venue reports, security risk assessments
- Establish and manage routines, systems, and personnel to ensure the effective management of operations
- To ensure appropriate support to clients.
- Support HRMS security standard operating procedures, fleet management, training, operations room procedures and equipment, compliance, HR, assurance, and quality control.
- To ensure understanding of and adherence to Control Risks Operations Standard Operating Procedures
- To monitor and assess the performance of all PTs to ensure common and appropriate standards
- To ensure appropriate behaviour, approach, and discipline are maintained along with adherence to Control Risks’ ethical standards
- To ensure PT team's awareness of and adherence to HSE policies
Knowledge and experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a hostile environment.
- Experience in operational risk management.
- Experience in the security industry.
- Experience in Project Management.
- As part of a flexible team, a willingness to take on tasks outside your core competence.
- Experience working in complex regulatory environments.
Preferred
- Previous experience in HRMS.
- Previous experience in Ukraine.
- Previous commercial security consulting experience.
- Project Management experience.
- Experience in jurisdiction start-up.
Qualifications and specialist skills
Essential
- Previous experience in a hostile environment
- Previous commercial security experience
- SIA qualified – Frontline CP
- Competent and confident in the use of Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of close protection methodology in hostile environments.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Medical Qualification
Preferred
- Security and Risk Management qualification.
- Operational command at sub-unit level or equivalent in the military.
