Monthly Salary: R27 000 - R32 000 (Negotiable based on experience)

Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee and optimise key operational functions within their health and wellness businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing real-time operational dashboards, optimising manpower allocation across multiple sites, and ensuring seamless coordination between teams to drive efficiency and productivity. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in operations management, workforce planning, and process optimisation, ideally within healthcare, retail, or a similar fast-paced environment.

Job Overview:

As the Operational Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of all our services, from Academy to Retreats. You will manage day-to-day activities, implementation of new services, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet organisational goals. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth running of all business sectors within Levitas Group (Academy, Dental, Medical, Aesthetic, Regenerative Medicine, and Retreats).
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to streamline services and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Coordinate and ensure all elements of new service rollouts (training, IT, marketing, etc.) are fully covered.
  • Service Implementation & Management: Oversee and action the implementation of new services into active operations, ensuring all necessary components (training, induction, IT infrastructure) are in place.
  • Maintain operational continuity by monitoring and optimising day-to-day functions across all sectors.
  • Team Coordination & Resource Allocation: Allocate work effectively to various teams, ensuring each department is
  • aligned with operational goals.
  • Manage remote teams and ensure adequate training and development opportunities.
  • Maintain clear communication and visibility daily with the operational team by using the daily chat video on Teams informing the team whenever logged off for any reason.
  • Performance Monitoring & Dashboards: Track and report on daily performance dashboards, which include metrics such as calls, emails, clinical capacity, and patient feedback.
  • Ensure performance targets are met consistently and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration with Key Stakeholders: Engage and collaborate with the Business Development Team, Line
  • Managers, and COO to ensure seamless business operations and growth.
  • Address operational issues with the team, offering effective solutions and maintaining continuous improvement.
  • IT & Infrastructure Management: Ensure IT infrastructure is robust and capable of supporting the operational needs of all business sectors.
  • Implement new technological solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Oversee risk management processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Identify and address operational risks and challenges as they arise, mitigating any impact to the business.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an operational management role, preferably within a multi-faceted organization (Academy, Healthcare, Medical, Aesthetic, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in remote team management.
  • Strong IT skills, with a solid understanding of operational systems, software, and IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, be adaptable and respond quickly to any changes at a moment's notice, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.
  • Familiarity with performance dashboards and key metrics related to operational success (e.g., patient feedback, clinical capacity, calls, and emails).
  • Experience with risk management and compliance in a healthcare or service-oriented environment is an advantage.

    Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in a healthcare, dental, or medical environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Regenerative Medicine, Aesthetic treatments, or Retreat services is a plus.
