Operations Manager - Consumer Banking

The Mission

Fasset is at the forefront of the financial revolution, building a global ecosystem that connects Stablecoins and Digital Islamic Banking with traditional retail finance. We are seeking an Operations Manager based in Malaysia to act as the strategic architect behind our global banking products, specifically our International USD Accounts and Card services.

Your mission is to own the end-to-end consumer banking journey, ensuring that our innovative digital Islamic financial solutions are delivered with a frictionless, high-speed experience. You will balance rigorous regulatory expectations with a customer-obsessed mindset, taking calculated risks to ensure our users are empowered. This role requires an "always-on" leadership mentality, providing a steady hand for a team that operates across multiple time zones and cultures.

Core Responsibilities: Driving the Banking Engine

• End-to-End Journey Management: Oversee the entire consumer banking lifecycle, ensuring that retail and business users move through the system with maximum velocity. You are the final owner of the "flow" from signup to active transacting.
• Compliance Operations Leadership: Manage and oversee the execution of multi-jurisdictional Sanction Screening, Proof of Address (PoA) audits, and manual KYC overrides. You are managing the people and the systems that ensure Fasset remains a compliant and trusted fortress.
• Fraud & Dispute Command: Lead the strategy for ongoing monitoring and transaction security. You will own the investigation and resolution of Card and Banking fraud cases, chargebacks, and transaction disputes, ensuring both the company and the customer are protected.
• The Crypto-Banking Bridge: Utilize deep knowledge of Stablecoins (USDT/USDC) and blockchain networks to oversee the intersection of digital assets and traditional banking rails (SWIFT, SEPA, and ACH).
• Process Architecture & SOP Creation: You are expected to be a self-starter who dives into the technicalities of our partners and products independently. You will document and create the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that define how we manage partner expectations and customer delivery.
• System Optimization: Identify operational bottlenecks and architect the technological upgrades—including next-gen KYC and AI screening tools—required to scale our volume without compromising quality.
• Global Team Synchronization: Mentor and anchor a diverse, multi-country team across Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Indonesia. You must ensure operational continuity and high morale across all regional shifts, providing guidance whenever the mission requires it.
