The Operations Lead owns day-to-day execution reliability and ensures deployments move predictably from launch to fulfillment while managing contributor throughput across cities.
Operations Lead
Location: Global (Remote)
Reports to: Head of Operations
Employment Type: Full-time
Rwazi’s data engine operates across Retail Mapping (RM) and Consumer Insights (CI) deployments spanning multiple countries, time zones, and contributor networks.
The Operations Lead owns day-to-day execution reliability across active logs.
This role ensures deployments move predictably from launch to fulfillment — controlling activation velocity, QA throughput, escalation logic, and contingency routing.
The Operations Lead does not merely coordinate tasks. They command execution under live conditions.
Hitting log fulfillment targets on time
Maintaining quality thresholds without dilution
Managing contributor throughput across cities
Detecting early execution risk signals
Escalating structural issues before they compound
This is an outcome-accountable execution role.
Oversee active RM and CI deployments across regions
Ensure daily progress aligns with forecasted completion timelines
Intervene immediately when velocity drops below acceptable thresholds
Monitor activation rates per city and log
Coordinate reactivation and surge capacity where needed
Optimize payout structures within defined economic guardrails
Monitor first-pass approval rates
Coordinate with QA leads to resolve rejection spikes
Ensure redeployment logic is executed efficiently
Implement Plan B/C routing when supply gaps emerge
Reallocate contributors across regions where feasible
Maintain redundancy in execution pathways
Maintain daily execution dashboards
Surface early warning indicators
Provide structured updates to Director of Operations
Strong performance in this role results in:
Predictable log completion
Reduced last-minute escalations
Higher first-pass QA rates
Lower redeployment percentages
Fewer cost overruns
This role directly influences delivery reliability and margin stability.
This is not passive monitoring
This is not administrative coordination
This is not a support or ticket role
This is not purely strategic
This role requires rapid judgment, structured thinking, and ownership under pressure.
We are looking for individuals who demonstrate:
5–8+ years in operational leadership or distributed workforce management
Experience managing gig, marketplace, or field execution systems
Strong quantitative reasoning (rates, ratios, throughput tracking)
Ability to operate calmly in high-friction, time-sensitive environments
Clear decision-making under incomplete information
Bias toward action and structured intervention
Candidates may come from high-scale logistics, gig platforms, field networks, or fast-moving B2B SaaS environments.
We value operators who:
Take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks
Move quickly without waiting for perfect clarity
Escalate early rather than conceal risk
Prefer responsibility over comfort
Thrive in dynamic execution environments
This role is suited for leaders who enjoy commanding live operational systems.
Candidates are evaluated based on:
Their ability to diagnose execution bottlenecks quickly
Their quantitative reasoning under time pressure
Their judgment in escalation and contingency design
Their ability to stabilize execution when conditions deteriorate
Their track record of hitting delivery targets reliably
We prioritize demonstrated execution control and resilience over resumes alone.
The Operations Lead ensures Rwazi’s data engine runs predictably every day across markets.
This role is central to maintaining execution reliability while continuously strengthening the operational control system.
