  • 1st Shift: 5:45am - 2:15pm
  • 2nd Shift: 2:15pm - 10:15pm
  • 3rd Shift: 9:45pm -6:15am

 Pay:

  • Starting at $20 per hour
    $500 of initial employment bonuses
    5% bonus for meeting quarterly goals
    Overtime and Other Incentives 

 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Lead to oversee daily operations in our food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth production processes, from pre-processing to final food packaging, while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong background in food manufacturing, team leadership, and process optimization.

 

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of both ingredient processing and food packaging departments.
  • Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production yield, downtime, and waste reduction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and minimize bottlenecks.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.

Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensure all products meet quality and safety standards, including FDA, USDA, GMP, HACCP, and other relevant regulations.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to uphold strict food safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with sanitation and operational procedures.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Provide training on food safety, equipment operation, and best manufacturing practices.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels and manage shift schedules.

Equipment & Process Optimization:

  • Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of processing and packaging equipment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity while reducing costs and waste.

Health & Safety:

  • Enforce workplace safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations

 

Preferred Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing operations, including both ingredient processing and packaging.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP, GMP, HACCP, FSMA, and other food safety regulations.
  • Experience with LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.
  • Proficiency in production planning, inventory control, and process optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in using Outlook, Teams, RedZone, and other company software programs.

 

 Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced food manufacturing facility with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and industrial equipment.
  • Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of materials.

May involve working in shifts, weekends, or extended hours as needed
