Internship Opportunity: We are currently looking to hire a full-time intern as soon as possible to support operations and day-to-day activities at our office in the Netherlands. This internship offers students the opportunity to:

Requirements

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on intern with the following profile:

• Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)
• Strong computer skills and confidence working with digital tools and software
• Positive, proactive, and responsible attitude, with a willingness to learn
• Interest in agriculture, agri-technology, or food systems
• Valid driver’s license and preferably access to a personal vehicle
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a small, dynamic team

Responsibilities:

As an Operations Intern at Seed-X, you will support the daily operational activities related to our AI-driven seed analysis technology. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and monitoring AI-driven seed sorting machines to process and analyse seed and grain batches.
• Conducting phenotyping assessments using our internally developed mobile software.
• Processing and structuring phenotypical data to support further AI training and algorithm development.
• Inspecting, monitoring, and controlling ongoing production processes to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency.
• Supporting the operations team with hands-on, practical tasks in a real startup production environment.
• Processing and administrative handling of new customer orders, including data entry, documentation, and internal coordination.

This role offers a unique combination of technology, agriculture, and applied operations, providing direct exposure to innovative AI solutions in the agri-tech sector.

Deliverables:

During the internship, the intern is expected to deliver the following outcomes:

• Correctly operated and monitored seed analysis and sorting processes, ensuring accurate processing of assigned seed batches.
• Quality control reports or logs documenting inspections and observations of ongoing production processes.
• Well-structured and validated phenotypical datasets prepared for use in AI model training and algorithm development.
• Correct processing and administrative handling of new customer orders, including data entry, documentation, and internal coordination.
• Preparation of analyzed seed batches for shipment, including labeling, packaging, and readiness for dispatch.
• Demonstrated understanding of end-to-end operational workflows, from order intake and production to shipment.
