Key Responsibilities

Understand the difference between capital and operational expenditures, and work closely with stakeholders to track spending, forecast expenses, and assist with budget activities
Prepare analysis and reports to support senior management's tactical and strategic decisions, while identifying financial risks and opportunities
Manage purchase requisitions, statements of work, contract renewals, internal labor costs, and coordinate funding request submissions to ensure successful execution of capital projects
Departmental support tasks

Must-have Skills

2-4 years experience with operational activities and financial project management
A degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
Fundamental understanding of budgeting and forecasting
Proficient with Google Suite
History of relationship building and collaboration
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and a growth mindset

AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
