Operations Finance Coordinator (Part Time)

$19 – $25 per hour

TLDR

Join the studio operations team to manage financial inputs, enhance collaboration among departments, and support critical operational processes while ensuring project accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Timesheet Approvals: You will oversee the weekly timesheet workflow, tracking submissions and coordinating with leads to secure necessary approvals and sign-offs.

  • Data Entry: You will execute detail-oriented data entry for project financials and resource tracking, ensuring our ledgers and tracking sheets remain up-to-date and accurate.

  • Report Generation: Run established reports and learn to create customized reports based on evolving business needs.

  • Documentation: Maintain and create clear and consistent documentation that follows established style guidelines under the guidance of subject matter experts.

  • Collaboration: You will coordinate with other teams to procure necessary approvals and ensure seamless information flow between the production, operations and finance departments.

  • Finance Operations Support: You will support vendor set-up, payment processing, and allocations. You will also assist with reviewing and coding invoices to ensure accurate tracking against project budgets.

  • Required Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in Production Accounting, Operations Finance, or a similar administrative role within a creative or studio environment.Tech Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

  • Experience with Projector or similar resource management/accounting software (e.g., Smart Accounting, PSL, Great Plains) is required. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that support clear collaboration across different levels of the organization.

  • Nice to Haves
  • Specific experience with Projector PSA is highly valued
