Operations and Maintenance Project Manager
TLDR
Lead the delivery of operations and maintenance projects in high-voltage environments, inspiring teams and driving safety and operational excellence.
- Full-time position (immediate start)
- Base yourself in Wollongong, NSW (candidates from nearby locations Sydney, Melbourne & including Queensland, are also welcome to apply)
- Travel to sites as needed
- Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams across on-site solar and renewable energy O&M projects
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery, focusing on safety, performance, client satisfaction, and financial outcomes
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, owning both commercial and operational
- Conduct regular site visits, particularly in NSW and QLD, and during onboarding of new project sites
- Collaborate with global teams, including participation in after-hours calls with counterparts in Europe, America, and Asia
- Manage client relationships, budgets, and overall project performance to meet strategic objectives
- Minimum two years’ experience managing O&M projects in utility-scale solar or renewable energy (or transferable experience).
- Proven management and leadership skills with extensive experience in team development, effective communication, project delivery, and workforce planning.
- Experience managing contracts, budgets, and technical teams in high-compliance environments
- Proven expertise in safety management, including electrical risk mitigation and compliance with WHSEQ standards.
- Demonstrated project financial management skills and solid knowledge of finance, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting.
- High proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of energy generation systems, asset management, and utility-scale inverter technology.
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar
- Current Australian driver’s license
