Zodia Custody is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency, supporting risk management, and ensuring the seamless execution of our custody services. You will work closely with various teams to optimize processes, analyze data, and contribute to the overall growth and stability of our operations.

 Responsibilities: 

  •  Data Analysis: Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Develop reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Reconciliations: Perform and oversee regular reconciliations across custody wallets, transactions, and internal records, investigating and resolving discrepancies to ensure accuracy, completeness, and control integrity.
  •  Client Support: Assist in addressing client inquiries related to custody operations, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  •  Risk Management: Support risk assessment activities by identifying potential operational risks, proposing mitigation strategies and executing risk management controls.
  • Transaction Oversight: Monitor and validate transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
  •  Documentation: Maintain up-to-date process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), to ensure clarity and consistency across operations.
  • Technology Integration: Work with IT and development teams to enhance operational systems and tools, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.
  •  Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and report findings to management.
  • Platform Support - Provide support across trading, operations, settlement, custody, and collateral management platforms. 
  •  Digital Asset Knowledge - While knowledge of digital assets is a plus, experience in supporting trading or custody of financial instruments is highly favorable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  •  3+ years of experience in operations, analytics, or a similar role, preferably in the financial services or cryptocurrency industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or data visualization software).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency custody solutions is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • This role is based in our Luxembourg office.
