With over 150 member organisations — including 18 of the world’s top 20 biopharma companies — BioPhorum operates a subscription model across 11 highly specialised Phorums.

Following a period of strong growth, the launch of its first data product, and a recent acquisition, BioPhorum is strengthening how its Phorum teams operate at scale — and we’re looking for someone to bring real-world process improvement experience into a virtual, knowledge-based environment.

We’re seeking an Operational Excellence / Process & Effectiveness Manager to improve how our Phorum teams work, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and value for our 7,000+ members.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on operational improvement experience in manufacturing or process-driven environments who is motivated by transforming processes, driving efficiency, and delivering measurable impact across an organisation. Ideally you will come from a Life Sciences, Biopharmaceutical background.

What You’ll Do

• Lead change initiatives, embedding new ways of working across teams
• Map, document, and standardise processes, identifying inefficiencies and scalable solutions
• Apply Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement methods to drive measurable results
• Work with IT and tools to support operational improvements and governance
• Build business cases, track KPIs, and communicate improvements to senior stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• Practical experience in process improvement and change management
• Lean/Six Sigma or operational excellence expertise
• Strong skills in process mapping and redesign
• Experience leveraging IT systems and tools to improve business operations
• Ability to influence, collaborate, and drive adoption across virtual teams

Location
This is a home-based role, with expected travel in order to participate in customer and organisational events. While BioPhorum is a UK based business, ad hoc international travel may be required.
