Online Learning Advisor - Education

Online Education Services (OES) is a leading provider of educational services, collaborating with institutions to deliver exceptional online learning experiences. In partnership with Western Sydney University, we are seeking an Online Learning Advisor for the upcoming Tri 2 of 2026.

In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the academic journey of our online students at Western Sydney University. Our Online Learning Advisors (OLAs) are dedicated to ensuring that students receive the support and guidance necessary for their success.

The focus of this position is to facilitate student learning by delivering planned academic content, engaging with students in a meaningful way, and providing feedback that enhances their academic experience. As an OLA, you will help create an inclusive and encouraging online learning environment, acting as a bridge between the curriculum and students' educational aspirations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivery of scheduled online workshops and academic content as per the course plan.
• Providing timely feedback on assessments and aiding students in understanding course materials.
• Support the academic integrity and assessment processes by adhering to established guidelines.
• Engage proactively with students to foster a positive and interactive learning community.

Requirements

Must-have Qualifications:

• TEQSA AQF level 8 qualifications or above

• A degree in a relevant field aligned with the courses being taught

• 3-5 years of industry experience in a relevant discipline

• High-level communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an online environment

• A passion for supporting online learners in their educational journey

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in teaching at a tertiary level

• A Master’s or higher degree related to the subject area

• Experience with learning management systems and online teaching technologies
