Hey! I’m Henry, and I started Onform Finance with my wife to help small and medium-sized businesses - especially in e-commerce and tech - get the financial support they need to grow with confidence.

We provide outsourced finance services to businesses doing up to £10M in revenue, including bookkeeping, accounting, financial control, and CFO-level support.

We’re a small, sharp, and hands-on team based across the UK and India, and we pride ourselves on being proactive, reliable, and people-focused.

We’re looking for a Data & Systems Lead (Low-Code & Automation)

You’ll be our first dedicated technical hire, responsible for building and leading our data and engineering function. You’ll make a big impact by creating scalable, automated processes and defining the technical infrastructure for both our finance services and e-commerce operations.

In this role, you will:

📊 Establish data infrastructure by designing and building an internal data warehouse and reporting engine to consolidate data streams
⚡ Automate workflows and processes using low-code/no-code tools like Airtable and Zapier
🛒 Implement and manage e-commerce systems, including inventory management across two warehouse locations
🔐 Standardise, segment, and secure client financial data while building reliable data management solutions
🗣️ Translate business and financial requirements into technical solutions and guide implementation

Working hours are ideally aligned with UK/EU time zones, with some flexibility.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you need:

✅ Proven experience with Xero API integration
✅ Experience with the Shopify platform and ecosystem apps
✅ Expertise in Google Sheets API for automation and reporting

Brownie points:

⭐ Strong proficiency with low-code/no-code platforms (Airtable, Zapier)
⭐ Familiarity with AI tools in modern engineering environments
⭐ Experience building customer-facing dashboards that combine multiple data sources

The ideal candidate is strategic but execution-focused, able to balance long-term vision with fast, hands-on delivery. You’re comfortable working remotely, collaborating through screen-sharing and live sessions, and thrive in a proactive, solutions-oriented environment.
