Planned Parenthood Keystone is looking for a Part Time (10-15 hours/week) On-Camera Social Media Intern to join our Marketing & Communications team. Aside from required availability on Wednesdays from 10am-12pm EST, the hours are flexible. This role will be instrumental in developing and producing short-form educational video content to help connect with our communities. They will be responsible for brainstorming content ideas with the social media team and incorporating those ideas into writing, filming, editing, and production.
Skills learned include working in a team environment using a content pipeline and project management software, elevating a brand’s digital presence, and maximizing productivity by adapting content across various properties such as owned media like websites and emails, as well as for social media properties like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Attend weekly team meetings to assist with identifying trends, recommending topics, and capitalizing on timely opportunities for engaging and educational social media content.
Work with the Communications Intern and with the support of the Director of Marketing and Communications to write medically accurate scripts for short-form video content.
Serve as the primary on-screen personality to record, edit, and produce video content using the sexual and reproductive health information, captions, and visual assets developed with and by the social media team.
Upload drafts for review, incorporate revisions from team members, and post final approved content to TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
Maintain an organized library of recorded clips, perform workflow system updates, and maintain overall brand voice consistency.
Ensure completion of required annual training.
Adhere to all HIPAA and patient privacy regulations.

Able to contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions.
Strong on-camera communication skills including comfort in front of the camera.
Experience with social media and short-form video platforms including strong understanding of current trends.
Willingness to adhere to information accuracy guidelines and incorporate feedback.
Able to reliably attend weekly virtual meetings and meet weekly deadlines.

Must submit to a PA State Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Fingerprinting Clearance.
Must have access to reliable internet connection.
Salary:
Internship roles are unpaid but eligible for course credit at participating Colleges and Universities. Please consult your institution or program of study for course credit eligibility.
