On-Call Digital Imaging Specialist

THE ROLE: On-Call Digital Imaging Specialist (ONSITE)

We’re looking for…

We need someone who is comfortable in Adobe Photoshop to handle touching up images.  We follow an established guideline for image quality and crop to maintain the appearance on both the Rue Lala and Gilt sites. This position is ONSITE at our location in Shepherdsville, KY.  Hours per week will vary based on need.

What You’ll Do:

Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

Maintain an established file organization scheme

Willing to learn new processes and work through them quickly while maintaining a quality workflow

Being able to handle a high volume of image retouching

Working in a Mac environment

Must have a strong visual awareness

Expertise in the following Photoshop techniques is important:

• Image manipulation using adjustment layers with layer masks
• Image retouching using Healing Brush and Clone Stamp tools
• Using Actions, Batches and Scripts to automate Photoshop
• Additional experience with CaptureOne is a bonus skill for this position

Portfolio:
Please provide examples (URL or PDF) of imaging and retouching work – examples of production retouching work is required.

Expected Salary Range: $18 hr
