Accounting Responsibilities (50%)

  • Process accounts payable: track invoices, write checks, enter data into specialized engineering software

  • Support payroll processes through coordination with payroll service
  • Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports
  • Serve as liaison with outside CPA for accounting reviews and tax preparation
  • Support project managers with financial tracking and data entry

Human Resources Responsibilities (30%)

  • Conduct new hire orientation and ensure proper documentation
  • Maintain confidential personnel files and records
  • Administer employee benefits including health insurance and 401K
  • Address employee questions regarding benefits and company policies
  • Assist with developing and implementing office policies/procedures

Office Management Duties (20%)

  • Prepare meeting spaces and coordinate company gatherings
  • Manage office and kitchen supplies inventory
  • Support maintenance of engineering licenses, registrations, and professional memberships
  • Oversee office equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail and shipping
  • Assist with proposal preparation
  • Respond to general office inquiries

Requirements
