Dirigo Management Company is seeking a full-time Office Manager who also has good HR Administrator experience to oversee the daily operations of two of its offices and its various departments with approximately 95 employees.  Offices are located in Portland and Kennebunk, Maine

Requirements of the Office Manager/HR Administrator:

  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Experience with Confidentiality regarding employees.
  • Ability to lead through challenges and oversee a diverse group of employees
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager or Administrative Assistant
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to commute to Portland on Monday through Friday. 
  • Ability to travel to Kennebunk every other week for 1 day

Responsibilities of the Office Manager/HR Administrator

  • Overseeing the work of all office employees, include coaching, development and performance management
  • Interviewing, onboarding and training of new employees
  • Ensuring that health and safety policies are up to date
  • Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
  • Monitoring and ordering of office supplies
  • Assist CFO with payroll processing
  • Liaison with Human Resources Partner for HR related matters
  • Annual Corporate Reporting/Registered Agent filings for clients
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities, such as gatherings and celebrations
