Occupational Therapist- Home Care
Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Plans and conducts individualized occupational therapy programs in a home care environment to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities.
- Teaches patients skills/techniques and how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities.
- Works cooperatively with physicians, case managers and treating therapists.
- Monitors, documents, and reports patients' progress and communicates needed health information regarding the patient to all appropriate health care team members.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.
- Requires state license to practice occupational therapy in Ohio.
- Reports to the clinical manager.
