The overall purpose of the role is to be the nurse at the Health Services Clinic at Greensboro site under the direction of the Health Services Supervisor and HSE. Patient Care:

  • Ensure the confidentiality of employee medical records and personal information per HIPAA guidelines.
  • Administer medical care and treatment to all clinic patients within the guidelines and protocols established by the medical director and Health Services directives, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide onsite coordination of examinations, treatment, and preventive measures related to the health of employees.
  • Responsible for medical documentation and management of patient record lifecycle.
  • Provide compliance health screenings through wellness and pre-placement physical assessments and exams.
  • Coordinate and communicate with HR Business Partners during the pre-placement process.

Promotion and Customer Experience:

  • Collaborate with GSO site HSE and Facilities staff to promote health education, medical screenings, and medical monitoring for employees through wellness and other programs.
  • Responsible for ensuring professional patient experience during clinic visits and patient communications.

Training and Capabilities:

  • Provide monitoring of current credentialing of nursing staff (licenses, CPR, HIPAA, BBP and ongoing computer accessibility)
  • Responsible for management of training matrix and oversight of all PRN nurses at GSO.

Collaboration:

  • Assist the Wellbeing Program Manager in the development and implementation of new and innovative wellness programs for the Syngenta GSO site.  
  • Assist and support HSE and Health Services teams to develop and refine ongoing process, policies, and procedures and strategic planning.
  • Provide HSE support as requested by site HSE. 
  • Preferred Candidates should possess BS in nursing or other health related field.
  • COHN-S preferred.
  • Current RN license in NC.
  • Minimum of 5 years nursing experience; with an emphasis on experience in occupation health and/or emergency medical care and management.
  • Preferred candidates should have a working knowledge of worker’s compensation and relative state laws.
  • Preferred candidates should have experience with and knowledge of OSHA guidelines desired.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Public speaking in large or small group settings.
