How we support you:

    • Alternating week focuses - Discipline Specific, and on the alternate week across disciplines of Students

What you will do:

  • Abide by all applicable School and Rivia Mind standards, policies, and requirements.
  • Properly incorporate evidence-based practice guidelines and follow Rivia Mind policies and SOPs.
  • Provide excellent quality clinical care on a consistent basis that exemplifies Rivia Mind’s culture, values, and guiding principles.  
  • Perform 15-minute consults and properly abide by all pre, during, and post-activities pertaining to the session. 
  • Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop curated patient centered treatment plans.  
  • Provide appropriate Psychotherapy practices that leverage various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.). 
  • Appropriately prescribe medication prescriptions with proper Psychopharmacology interventions and submit refills considering the best judgment of the patient's well-being and acquiring your preceptor's approval.
  • Attend all required group supervision meetings, as well as Rivia-wide clinical meetings on a weekly basis.  If unable to attend in a given week or due to required coursework at your school, or requirements of an outside job, please inform and receive permission prior to missing any given meeting, and watch the recording of each required meeting within 1 week.  
  • Complete all required clinical course assignments, surveys, and evaluations on time.
  • Check and respond to emails daily (even on non-scheduled days) with in a timely manner. 
  • Prepare and lead 2 virtual presentations on a mental health topic of students' choosing during Rivia-wide Friday noon meetings during their rotation, with a student-chosen discussant (ex: supervisor, faculty member, peer, etc.). 
  • Facilitate two recorded patient sessions to be reviewed in group supervision (ideally 1 per semester). 
  • Develop a caseload of diverse patients to treat through various psychotherapy and psychopharmacology practices if applicable. 
  • Enter patient documentation properly and in a timely manner.
  • Follow HIPAA standards and remain compliant with technological use.
  • Monitor and hold oneself responsible in managing one's schedule and completion of required hours per program expectations.
  • Actively engage in supervision meetings and seek guidance as needed.
  • Promote a friendly work culture that encourages a fun, collaborative, and co-learning environment that benefits individuals' well-being, self-improvement, and potential.

Details:

  • This is a fully remote position. 
  • Hours and schedule are determined by you and your school requirements, and must be within 8 am - 6 pm, M-F.
  • Ability to attend our weekly meetings are required on Wednesdays and Thursdays. 

Compensation Determination: The pay range listed reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for this role, determined through an internal compensation assessment that considers similar labor markets to our practice across the United States. Actual compensation is influenced by compensable factors such as location, role responsibilities, required skills, relevant experience, qualifications, role level, and applicable credentials. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the posted range. In addition to base salary, total compensation may include bonuses, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.

Location Eligibility: At this time, we are only able to consider applicants whose primary residence is in one of the following states within the United States of America: Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas. Because this is not a solely on-site role, your primary residence must remain in one of these approved states.
