Job Description: 

Blue Water Thinking is seeking a Nuvolo Subject Matter Expert to provide specialized technical and functional expertise in support of the VA HTM Nuvolo Clinical EAM and OT Security platform. This individual applies deep knowledge of clinical asset management operations, ServiceNow platform governance, and VHA HTM workflows to guide configuration decisions, resolve complex issues, and inform sprint planning and solution design. 

 Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Provide authoritative technical and functional guidance on Nuvolo Clinical EAM and OT Security configuration, workflows, and integration with VA enterprise systems.
  • Support requirements analysis, solution design, and story definition in collaboration with VA Product Owners, HTM Program Office staff, and the Scrum team.
  • Advise on VA enterprise ServiceNow governance policies, ITSM procedures, and ESM platform standards applicable to Nuvolo configuration.
  • Contribute subject matter expertise to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Epic-level requirement refinement.
  • Support application maintenance, upgrade planning, and interface design activities requiring specialized clinical asset management or HTM knowledge.
  • Serve as a technical resource for incident remediation on complex or high-priority (P1/P2) issues requiring deep platform expertise.
  • Provide technical input for training material development to ensure accuracy of clinical and application content.
  • Participate in Workgroup Change Management Board coordination activities, providing technical recommendations as requested.
  • Support data and terminology standardization efforts in alignment with VHA standards. 

 Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience providing executive-level guidance in government or large, complex organizations. 
  • Recognized level of expertise in Nuvolo, ServiceNow, clinical asset management, or Healthcare Technology Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into actionable solutions within the ServiceNow/Nuvolo platform. 

 Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or similar federal healthcare agency.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
  • Experience delivering Nuvolo Clinical EAM and/or OT Security module.
  • Experience with VHA or other federal healthcare agencies.
  • Understanding of VISN, VAMC, and HTM/Biomedical Engineering operations.
  • Experience with VA CDW integrations, AEMS/MERS, or Maximo transition environments. 

Eligibility: 

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role. 

Compensation: 

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below. 

Salary range: $115,000 - $185,000
