Job Description: 

Blue Water Thinking is seeking a Nuvolo Junior Trainer to support the development and delivery of training programs for the VA Nuvolo Clinical EAM and OT Security platform under the direction of the Senior Trainer. This individual assists in maintaining and updating training materials following system changes, conducting training sessions, and supporting end users as new functionality is deployed across the VA HTM enterprise. 

 Responsibilities: 

  • Performing in a key role executing program operations to meet established goals and objectives.
  • Collaborating with VHA leadership and cross-functional teams to align program goals with veteran healthcare needs.
  • Assisting in the planning, creation, and delivery of training and educational courses for VA HTM staff on Nuvolo application workflows.
  • Supporting updates to training content (guides, knowledge articles, job aids) following system upgrades, releases, and configuration changes.
  • Conducting evaluations and assist in identifying communication and skill requirements for VA HTM end users.
  • Translating training needs into workshop modules and remedial training content.
  • Developing and revising workbooks and instructional materials for standard and customized Nuvolo training workshops.
  • Performing training-related administrative tasks including scheduling, enrollment management, and training record maintenance.
  • Conducting face-to-face and online training sessions for diverse VA HTM user audiences.
  • Maintaining training databases and assisting with knowledge management of the VA Nuvolo Knowledge Base and service portal.
  • Attending and actively participating in project meetings; supporting the tracking of training deliverables.
  • Assisting with UAT coordination and user acceptance support for new application features.
  • Supporting the development of work plans and project documentation as assigned. 

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience providing training in a technical or healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver in-person and/or web-based training to adult learners.
  • Experience supporting Nuvolo. 

 Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Professional clinical experience and understanding of healthcare delivery.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
  • Experience with VHA or other federal healthcare agencies.
  • Experience delivering Nuvolo Clinical EAM and/or OT Security module training.
  • Understanding of VISN, VAMC, and HTM/Biomedical Engineering operations. 

 Eligibility: 

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role. 

Compensation: 

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below. 

Salary range: $58,000 - $105,000
