Role Overview

The Nursing Recruiter (Healthcare Relations Manager) plays a central role in guiding nurses through the recruitment journey—from initial screening through offer and onboarding coordination. Operating within the healthcare recruitment industry, this role balances empathy, accountability, and operational rigor to ensure successful, long-term placements. The position is highly people-facing and execution-heavy, requiring frequent calls, clear communication, and structured follow-through. This role is ideal for a mission-driven professional who thrives in high-stakes environments, builds trust quickly, and remains diligent under demanding schedules. You will directly influence the success and retention of international nurse placements by delivering a consistent, supportive candidate experience. Your work will ensure hospitals receive well-matched, committed nursing professionals while candidates feel guided and informed throughout the process. By maintaining accountability and clear communication, you will reduce drop-offs, improve placement success rates, and strengthen long-term relationships. Your contributions will support operational efficiency, candidate satisfaction, and the organization’s mission to address critical healthcare staffing needs.

Core Responsibilities

Candidate Relationship Management

  • Own the end-to-end nurse candidate journey from initial screening through offer stage.
  • Conduct introductory and follow-up calls to assess readiness, fit, and commitment.
  • Build trust-based relationships by understanding candidates’ goals, constraints, and personal context.
  • Serve as a consistent and reliable point of contact throughout the recruitment process.

Screening, Evaluation & Matching

  • Assess candidates against hospital requirements with clarity and empathy.
  • Filter and advance only qualified and committed nurses through the pipeline.
  • Match candidates to opportunities based on professional qualifications and personal circumstances.
  • Collaborate with internal evaluation teams to validate readiness and alignment.

Candidate Presentation & Interview Coordination

  • Translate candidate backgrounds into clear and compelling presentations for hospital partners.
  • Prepare resumes and supporting documentation for review.
  • Coordinate interviews, offers, and onboarding-related steps.
  • Ensure a seamless and supportive experience at each milestone.

Accountability, Feedback & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain accountability to support successful, long-term placements.
  • Coach candidates through challenges, decisions, and setbacks.
  • Share insights and improvement recommendations with internal teams.
  • Maintain organized follow-ups to ensure no candidate is overlooked.

Requirements

Must-Haves (Required)

  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting (agency or in-house), Human Resources, or client-facing relationship roles.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong follow-through.
  • Ability to balance empathy with direct, clear guidance.
  • Proven experience working night shifts aligned with U.S. time zones.
  • Collaborative, team-player mindset with a high level of accountability.
  • Professional maturity and reliability, ideally 28 years old or above.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
